"As soon as I walked into this kitchen, I wanted to relocate the cooking to the inside wall to give the client better prep space.

Aesthetically, we wanted to give the client contrast. The old cabinets practically matched the floor, creating a very uninspiring space. The end result of darker floors, white cabinetry, and walnut accents brings the rest of this first floor together.

 

I wanted to expand and clear the island of appliances.
